The Reunion was great!

Responses

  1. The reunion was great. I almost cancelled and am so glad I did not. We certainly missed those like Ken and Carolyn, Lowell and Diana and Dan and Ramona who couldn’t make it. It was good to see people I hadn’t seen for 40 years and to reminisce (sp?) I didn’t need to worry that no one would remember me, but felt bad that people remembered me that I had a hard time remembering myself. Is it old age? Or just the passing of 40 years? My Eastern Orthodox priest would have really appreciated former president Easley’s message Monday night on Psalm 1. Nothing new in what he said, but a terrific reminder of our job as Christians to constantly delight in God’s word and resist the temptations that the world offers us every day. The Kyrie on Monday night was also a blessing, sung by one of Moody’s choirs and accompanied by the symphony orchestra. Though the music was different, the words were what we sing every service in the Orthodox Church. Seeing the accomplishments of some classmates makes me regret that I haven’t done more in my life. Maybe there is still time. Let’s keep the website up and keep in touch with each other. Ginni Freshour

  2. Ginny… THANKS for taking time to reminisce on the site. We missed you, too. Ken and Carolyn
